TWCERT/CC was invited to join the annual OIC Drill held by the Organisation of The Islamic Cooperation – Computer Emergency Response Teams (OIC-CERT) on September 18, 2018. The theme of 2018 OIC Drill 2018 was "Crypto-currencies: Risks and Emerging Threats"

The drill was presided over by the Oman National CERT (OCERT) to let the participating CERTs familiar with high-risk cyberthreats and related responses. The topics were based on the scenarios related to cybersecurity notification and handling, malicious behavior forensics, and data collection.
