As a trusted vulnerability reporting organization, TWCERT/CC has participated in the Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE®) program of MITRE in the United States since 2018. TWCERT/CC has also become a CVE Numbering Authorities (CNA), and Established a Taiwan Vulnerability Note (TVN) platform to assist domestic and international manufacturers to respond to product vulnerabilities in order to mitigate threat and patch the vulnerability as early as possible, so as to avoid exploitation of product vulnerabilities and hacking activities.
The purpose of the aforementioned effort is to establish a joint-defence to stabilize and secure  Taiwan's overall network security, promote information communication security from three aspects: security, convenience, and efficiency, so as to gradually realize a network security environment.
